Unsere über 200 Mitarbeiter/innen weltweit sorgen dafür, dass Ihr nicht nur vor, sondern auch während Eures Aufenthalts betreut werdet und Ansprechpartner für alle Arten von Problemen habt. Hier seht Ihr die Projektmanager/innen. Die meisten von ihnen sind Einheimische, die einen Teil ihres Lebens in Europa verbracht haben. Daher können sie im Falle von interkulturellen Missverständnissen gut vermitteln. Je nach Umfang der Projekte arbeiten im gesamten Team in den Ländern zwischen 2 und 16 Mitarbeiter/innen, von denen Ihr rund um die Uhr jemanden erreichen könnt. Herman Sanka
Country Director
Herman joined Projects Abroad in April 2009. He was born and raised in an area of Tanzania called Manyara. He has an MBA, which he obtained through a joint-degree programme run by the Maastricht School of Management and the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute in Arusha. Before joining Projects Abroad he worked in Arusha as a Human Resources Manager for the Catholic Church. His main hobby is reading.
Father Filbert Chundu
Programme Assistant
Father Filbert was ordained as a priest in 2003 and works as a curate in Usa River. Before settling in this area he worked for 3 years in the Philippines. He has a BA in philosophy and social sciences and a Masters in theology. Father Filbert is very much part of the local community here and enjoys introducing the volunteers to the local families. During his free time he enjoys travelling and reading.
Eliafura Nielsen
Desk Officer
Eliafura joined the Projects Abroad team in Tanzania in December 2009. She is Danish and Tanzanian and has lived in both countries. In June 2009 Eliafura graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a degree in Information Management. She likes music and arts, and has enjoyed exploring both Asia and East Africa.
