Unsere über 200 Mitarbeiter/innen weltweit sorgen dafür, dass Ihr nicht nur vor, sondern auch während Eures Aufenthalts betreut werdet und Ansprechpartner für alle Arten von Problemen habt. Hier seht Ihr die Projektmanager/innen. Die meisten von ihnen sind Einheimische, die einen Teil ihres Lebens in Europa verbracht haben. Daher können sie im Falle von interkulturellen Missverständnissen gut vermitteln. Je nach Umfang der Projekte arbeiten im gesamten Team in den Ländern zwischen 2 und 16 Mitarbeiter/innen, von denen Ihr rund um die Uhr jemanden erreichen könnt. Bridgette B. Barrett
Country Director
Bridgette joined Projects Abroad in April 2008. She was born and raised in Manchester, Jamaica. She has a MSc. in Sociology and Social Psychology and is currently pursing her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and Community Development. Before joining Projects Abroad she worked as a research assistant, training and community development consultant for local and international agencies from her own home-based company. She likes interior decorating, car racing and driving to different parts of the island. She is a mini cooper fanatic and domino enthusiast.
Andrew Richards
Project Officer (Care and Sports)
Andrew joined Projects Abroad in July 2008, bringing years of experience in community development and banking. He was born and raised in Manchester, Jamaica. He is a cheerful, fun-loving, people-person who enjoys playing football, cooking and playing musical instruments. He is actively involved in youth development and is the church organist at his local congregation. Andrew recently married Tamara and cannot wait to add a football team to their family.
Rhoseen Davis
Project Officer (Teaching and Medicine)
Rhoseen or “Ann” or “Rosie” as she is called by the volunteers, joined Projects Abroad in June 2009. Before this she worked as a teacher and also has a medical background in Epidemiology. She enjoys swimming, singing and dancing or a good book. Rhoseen's favourite place is Jamaica, with its great food, music and people, exciting sports, beauty beyond compare and endless sand and sun.
Cherricha Jacobs
Desk Officer and Social Manager
Before joining Projects Abroad in March 2009, Cherricha worked in the areas of marketing, research, community development, administration and health care. She was born in Manchester and raised in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Cherricha enjoys listening to dancehall reggae music and in her spare time practices her photography skills.
Stacy-Ann Barrett
Office & Project Assistant
Stacy-Ann joined Projects Abroad in April 2009. She started out on a part-time basis and was responsible for running errands, collecting post, sending host and placement letters, and ensuring that the office was well kept. She has now been given additional responsibilities to help with inductions and she assists in coordinating the Parenting Project.
